As we get older must causes of hospitalisation are due to falls. Anything we can do to reduce falling and increasing bodily strength maintains our mobility and it’s mobility that keeps you active; so explains newly qualified Tai Chi instructor and retired Nurse John Fillis based in Ormskirk.

Readers of my blog will know I’m a great advocate of exercise to maintain mobility and Tai Chi is a great exercise for mind and body. The movement builds strength, stamina and flexibility. The breathing is the link between mind and body focusing your energy in the moment freeing you from your every day stress.

In this video instructor John Fillis explains how Tai Chi can improve your life.
