Seems a strange question I know. It is amazing the junk that we store in the brain. I also find it startling how we have the ability to recall that bit of trivia you thought long forgotten.
Perhaps I should have asked how do you respond with your mind or your heart? Does a passing thought lead your mouth to simply roll into gear even before you have really thought about what you are saying?
“why talk and say the unsaid words in haste when silence can speak the unspoken words?”

Who do you blame?
The weather, the dog, or the economy for all the things that go wrong in your life! You know the type of thing I mean, “it always happens to me.” The problem with this thinking is that you are letting circumstances, situations, and people control the way you respond.
You are capable of taking responsibility.
Why let someone else’s comment, remark, or understanding control you! The one thing we have is a choice. To make a choice is your path to freedom without being controlled by another.
Once you open this pathway to the subconscious mind by experiencing and watching the mind we can listen to our hearts and really begin to understand who is making our decisions for us; the heart or the mind.
When we have begun, and let’s be honest we all do, we question the how and why we live the way we do. It normally comes down to two choices; 1) Safety or 2) change.
Safety always wins until the option not to change becomes too great and this is a potentially dangerous time because if we are still responding without reflecting we are allowing our thoughts to control us. Remember! “emotions serve to teach us .” We are reminded to be guarded with our thoughts and we do so by questioning them before we respond.
Top Tip. A good question to ask yourself, ” who is making your decisions the heart or the mind?”
